Windows Server 2012 delivers hundreds of

new features and enhancements for trans-

forming virtualization and cloud computing

including:

multitenant infrastructure to help users

scale and secure workloads to build a pri-

vate cloud.

• Power of Many Servers, Simplicity of One:

Delivers a highly available and easy-to-

manage multi-server platform.

• Every App, Any Cloud: Offers a broad,

scalable, and elastic server platform that

gives users the flexibility to build and de-

ploy applications and websites on the

premises, in the cloud, or both.

• Modern Work Style Enabled: Provides

users with flexible access to data and ap-

plications while simplifying management

and maintaining security, control, and

compliance.

Product lineup

The following editions of Windows Server

2012 are available: Datacenter, Standard,

Essentials, Foundation, and Windows Storage

Server 2012. All products include an English,

German, French, Italian, Japanese and Span-

ish user interface. Additional language packs

are available. For Windows Server Essentials

2012 language support – see table Technical

Details – Languages.

Delivery

The products ship packaged with the Fujitsu

PRIMERGY server, available in the PRIMERGY

price list.

Serviceability

Products include a country-specific warranty.

Installation

ServerView Installation Manager, included

with the Fujitsu PRIMERGY server lets you

install Windows Server 2012 on the Fujitsu

PRIMERGY server system hardware. Windows

Server 2012 (OEM, ROK) can be installed as a

guest operating system in Windows Server

2012 and 2008 R2, in Microsoft Hyper-V Serv-

er 2012 and 2008 R2, and in hypervisors from

VMware or Citrix.

Support Services

It is recommended to obtain support services

from Fujitsu. Fujitsu Support Packs include a

wide range of different Service Level Agree-

ments.

Lifecycle Support Policy

Microsoft’s support lifecycle for Windows

Server 2012 applies in addition to Fujitsu’s

PRIMERGY lifecycle:
