To extend the internal storage capacity of a PRIMERGY BX620 S4 or S5 dual socket server blade, upto twoPRIMERGY SX650

storage blades can be connected to one server blade.

With one PRIMERGYSX650the internal storage capacity of a BX620 S4/S5 can be extended by up to 1,500 Gbyte. It occupies one

additional server blade slot within the PRIMERGY BX600 S3 system unit, positioned at the right side of an adjacent server blade.

The 5 hard disk drives of one PRIMERGY SX650 are driven by a highly functional SAS/RAID controller with 512 Mbyte cache and BBU.

This controller (HBA) installed in the BX620 S4/S5 provides the RAID levels 0, 1, 5 and 6. The connection to the SX650 is realized via a

corresponding SAS cable which is dedicated for this configuration pair.
