Installing the drive cage

Drivecage

► Open the casing (see "Opening the c asing", Page 29).

► Push the drive cage at an angle into

the casing mounts (1).

► If a drive is present, con nect the connector

of th e data and power supply cables (2).

► Close the drive cage.

► Close the casing (see "

Closing the

casing", Page 30).

Installing a nd removing an accessible 5 1/4-inch drive

Removing an accessible 5 1/4-inch slim drive

► Open the casing (see "Opening the c asing", Page 29).

► Remove the drive cage (see "

Removing the drive cage", Page 34).

► Remo ve the screws from the drive cage (1).

► Take the drive out of the drive cage (2).

► Install the drive cage again (see "

Installing

the drive cage", Page 35).

► If you d o not want to install a new drive, you

must reﬁt the plastic drive cover again (see

Install ing the plastic drive cover", Page 34).

► Close the casing (see "

Closing t he casing", Page 30).
