Chapter 1 PREPARING THE DEVICE
1.1 Checking the Contents of
the Device Package
When you open the package containing the fi-5000N,
please handle the main unit and its attachments care-
fully.
Make sure it contains all the parts listed in the package
contents list that is included in the box.
If any parts are missing or defective, contact the store
you purchased the device from.
1.2 Names of Parts
This section describes the device’s parts.

The following illustration shows the keyboard located
under the white cover.
This keyboard is used for the following operations:

fi-5000N network settings
(administrator rights required)
•fi-5000N language settings
(administrator rights required)
•Fingerprint registration
